Sharana Basaveshwara Temple :
Appana Gudi Sharanabasaveshwara Temple : Sharanabasaveshwara Temple also known as Appana Gudi is one of the Religious place to visit, dedicated to an eminent Hindu religious teacher and philosopher, Shri Sharana Basaveshwara,a Lingayat saint of 18th Century known for his Dasoha
(Giving is earning) and Kayaka - an advancement of the Karma doctrine - "You have the right to perform the work assigned to you. You have no rights to 'demand' the fruits of your labor" philoshophy..
This temple is dedicated to an eminent Hindu religious teacher and philosopher, Shri Sharana Basaveshwara. Dasoha (Giving is earning) and Karma were his basic and simple principles.
Sharana Basaveshwara is from verashiva family. Their parents taught him love and moral values since from childhood and showed visual challenges faced by people.
It was built in 12 th century, there are sabhamandapa and pradashinapatha
The pillars of this temple have several curvings of elephants, peacocks, snacks,trees
Every year a vutsava was celebrated in the city, remembring and people from various parts of the state visit there to celebrate. 






Gulbarga Fort :
Gulbarga's old moated fort is in a deteriorated state, but it has a number of interesting buildings inside including the Jama Masjid Gulbarga, reputed to have been built by a Moorish architect during the late 14th or early 15th century who imitated the great mosque in Cordoba, Spain. The mosque is unique in India, with a huge dome covering the whole area, four smaller ones at the corners, and 63 smaller still all the way around. The fort itself has 15 towers.
Was built in year 1300`s 






Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah :
Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz mausoleum built by the then Bahamani King Ahmed Shaha Wali.The 14th century Sufi saint Khwaja Bande Nawaz was a disciple of Hazarath Khwaja Pir Naseeruddin Mahmood, who is also popularly known as Chirag of Delhi. Khwaja Bande Nawaz Gesudiraz played an important role in preaching Islam in the Indian context during the 14th century.
The place has a huge sprawling complex housing the tomb of’ Bande Nawaz’, the great Sufi Saint, who came to Gulbarga in 1413. His tomb’s walls have paintings and a mosque built by the Mughuls is near the tomb. It was built in the Indo-Saracenic style. The paintings on the walls and ceiling have a fusion of Turkish and Irani influence.
Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz : Dargah is another major attraction for devotees irrespective of caste and creed, dedicated to the famous Sufi saint who preached understanding, tolerance and harmony. Thus Gulbarga is known to be a hub of Hindu-Muslim harmony.






Budda Vihar :
Buddavihar is recently inaugurated by her Excellency The President of India on 7th Jan 2009.
Located in Gulbarga and is constructed with more than six crores.
It is considered as one of the largest budda temple`s in  India.
It consists of ground floors  and first floor. 
Ground floor is for meditation and the first floor consists of six feet budda idol which looks preety awesome great and makes feel peace in mind.
Many foreign visitors across the world visit this place.




Sri Kshetra : ( Gangapur )
Sri Kshetra Ghangapur is a famous pilgrimage center of God Sri Sadguru Dattatreya, situated very close to Gulbarga. 
Deval Ghanagapur in Afzalpur taluk attracts lakhs of devotees every year.
Sri Kshetra houses the shrine of Dattatreya. Mythological studies state that Shri Dattatreya attained realization at the banks of the Bhima
Shri Kshetra’s significant places are the main temple, Kalleshwar and Sangam. The Sangama is considered to be a holy place where the waters of the river Amarja and Bhima meet together. Thus, the place has got its name as Shri Kshetra Gangapur. It is also a very popular Darshaneeya Kshetra. It is said that anyone who takes a holy dip in the Sangam is freed of all worldly sins. Moreover, all his wishes will come true if he worships with Bhakti. The anushthana of the temple was performed by Shri Narsimha Saraswathi Swamy.




Manik Prabhu Temple, Maniknagar :
Located in a small hamlet village by the name Maniknagar in a taluk town known as Humnabad in the Bidar district of North Karnataka, the Manik Prabhu Temple is dedicated to a great ascetic. On the outskirts of Humnabad lies the Manik Prabhu temple – about a kilometre away from this taluk town.
People believe that Manik Prabhu, the renowned saint, was a reincarnation of Lord Dattatreya. The Manik Prabhu Temple is located on the confluence of two holy rivulets Viraja and Guru Ganga The village of Maniknagar is built around this temple and is located on the high ground slopes.
